👜 Dooney & Bourke with a Disney Twist 👜

It’s all about the perfect placement of the graphics

With a custom Dooney & Bourke, placement is the key to finding the perfect purse.  As you can see the Mickey and Minnie’s are all evenly distributed through the width of the bag. Also when you have things such as metal plates or exterior pockets, you want to make sure that the placement of the material does not cut off any of the design.  After a very extensive look through of their offerings…we found the Mack daddy. I got my first Disney Dooney❤️👜

Like with all things good, Dooney prints only stick around for a certain amount of time and then they retire…like the Vera Bradley’s as well.  This print (Mickey and Minnie Mouse retro-gray) is currently offered at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneystore.com.  More specifically I could only find it at the Matket Place Co-Op at Disney Springs right next to the new TAG shop.

Don’t forget to use your annual pass discount  or Disney Chase credit card to save 10% on your purchase!!! Hey, every little bit helps lol.

Have a magical day my friends 😋

✂️ A Little Crafting Therapy ✂️

A little crafting therapy to destress after a long week. Super easy to make and mostly out of scrap ribbon and material I had just laying around my craft room. I used a foam wreath form that they sell at most crafting stores and the rest is history ❤️ Stay Disney my friends 😋

👟 My Next runDisney Race Costume Ideas 👟

My ideas for the next runDisney race that I will running in is leaning towards the classics…Steamboat Willie, Mickey Mouse or the iconic Minnie.  So basically I will be needing to invest in a pair of running shoes that are more on the muted side instead of my usual bright neon colored ones.  I have found a couple of ideas online so far but I do have till the end of October to finalize things.  I am excited because my daughter will also be running that weekend with me in one of the kids races which she is super excited about of course.  Great memories to be made.

This is the first year that the Wine and Dine weekend will include a 10k so cool that I will be getting to run in that. Bummer that the half got moved to a day time race, I know alot of people are pretty peeved about that one. Understandable though because the parks being open later now that Animal Kingdom will now be having night time attractions would interfere with the race start time of the usual 10 pm.

Keep watch for more to come with my costume updates and sneak peaks. November 6th will be here before we know it.  Have a magical day everyone ✨.

Disney…adults only!

We are on our way home from our adults only weekend at Disney. Recap…it was amazing!! No bags, no upset kids, able to do whatever we wanted and when we wanted. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing the look on my daughters face at Disney and how much fun she has whenever she goes but you gotta trust me on this one. Even if you only ever do it once…take an adults only trip and see Disney in a completely different light. You will be glad you did. I rode rides we have not ridden in years. Just more proof that “growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional”. – Walt Disney

Trip anticipation 😬 Counting down the days!!!!

What can be worse than having to leave Disney and go back to reality could very well be the days months or even years (ahhhhhhh 😫) before you are able to return. Days seem like months, months like years, and years like a lifetime!

What are some things you could do to help pass the time until your trip? I usually take the time to plan out our accommodations (if we plan on making a trip out of it and not just a day visit), make fastpasses at the 30 day countdown mark, and watch Dinsey movies ❤️ (usually the classics). Before you know it you will be passing through those gates as they welcome you home☺️.

 P.S. Only 24 days till I go home 😉

❤️My Disney Family❤️

We may argue and bicker…we may fuss and fight…but I wouldn’t give up this bunch for anything. We are family, we are a Disney family❤️

✨ A Magical Year✨

Reflecting  back on this past year we all have a lot to be thankful for. We have a beautiful roof over our head, food in our stomachs…too much food to be exact lol, and of course my amazing parents who continue to bless us each year with our Disney annual passes. Score!!!! I can’t thank them enough for continuing to bless us with the Disney Magic year after year. We love you mom and dad. Here’s to 2016 everyone 🎉 and may you be blessed with the magic of Disney in your life. Stay Disney my friends 😉

✏️ The Art of Drawing Disney Characters and Keeping the History Of Walt Alive ✏️

I have been eyeballing this sketch pad and these drawing books for the last like year at the Disney parks and finally “Santa” brought them to me for Christmas. I had the opportunity to do an art of animation class at Epcot during the Food and Wine Festival and fell in love with drawing the Disney characters. I never had the chance to make it to the class at Hollywood Studios before it closed this past year but hopefully Disney will bring it back for us to enjoy one day.

I drew my first full body character from the book and it is a lot harder than it looks. The hands were defiantly my downfall.  All I can keep doing is practicing and help keep the Disney favorites alive. Until next time my friends, stay Disney and have a magical day! ❤️
